Qualification Purpose
The Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Dermaplaning Treatments (RQF) will provide learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to provide dermaplaning treatments to clients
Age Ranges: Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 16 to undertake this qualification.
Geographical Coverage
This qualification is available in England and Northern Ireland.
Learner Entry Requirements: Learners must have previously completed and achieved a level 3 qualification in beauty therapy or a level 2 qualification in skincare and facial treatments.
This course includes: Facial Anatomy And Physiology The aim of the unit is to develop the knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology, specifically in the facial area, required for dermaplaning.
Investigative Consultation And Skin Health Assessment The aim of this unit is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding required to carry out advanced skin assessments and investigative consultations.
Provide Dermaplaning Treatments The aim of this unit is to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to provide dermaplaning treatments in a safe and hygienic environment.
This course includes all course materials, equipment and models provided to complete case study work and assessments. Students need to complete home study, assignments and attend the academy for practical to pass this course.
