VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 Blemish Removal Qualification

The VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 in Blemish Removal is an advanced qualification for level 4

qualified practitioners or equivalent aged 18 and over.

​

This qualification will include all the required elements to work successfully as a fully

commercial blemish removal professional.

​

Students will be expected to achieve all mandatory units which include:

​

Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies

Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies

Advanced skincare for non-medical aesthetic therapies

Provide blemish removal treatments

Throughout this course, students will develop their knowledge and understanding of all

Health & Safety aspects, Advanced Client Consultation, Skin Analysis, Anatomy and

physiology & providing Blemish Removal treatments relating to level 5 aesthetic

therapies.

Skills in developing the knowledge & understanding with communication and client

service to widen their knowledge of the principles and practices of level 4 aesthetic

therapies.

Pre-requisites: Level 4 or equivalent-Home study, assignments, portfolio of evidence and assessments are required to complete this course

including a final exam in both theory and practical.
