VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Skin Peeling Qualification
The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Skin Peeling is an advanced qualification for level 3 qualified practitioners or equivalent aged 18 and over. This qualification will include all the required elements to work successfully as a fully commercial skin peeling professional. Students will be expected to achieve all mandatory units which include:
UBT273 Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies
UBT274 Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies
UBT275 Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies
UBT280 Provide skin peeling treatment
Throughout this course, students will develop their knowledge and understanding of all Health & Safety aspects, Advanced Client Consultation, Skin Analysis, Anatomy and physiology & providing Skin peeling treatments relating to level 4 aesthetic therapies. Skills in developing the knowledge & understanding with communication and client service to widen their knowledge of the principles and practices of level 4 aesthetic therapies

Pre-requisites
Level 3 or equivalent. At a minimum, learners are required to hold either the VTCT Level 2 Award in Facial Massage and Skin Care or VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Certificate in Facial Skincare (or equivalent) and a qualification in level 3 Anatomy and Physiology. Home study, assignments, portfolio of evidence and assessments are required to complete this course including a final exam in both theory and practical.

Fully certified Level 4 Qualification on successful completion. To be awarded this qualification, learners must successfully achieve the following assessments: Externally set and externally marked graded practical examination (50% of qualification grade) Externally set and externally marked theory examination (50% of qualification grade) Externally set and internally marked assignment/project (no contribution to overall grade) Externally set and internally marked clinical case studies (no contribution to overall grade) To be taken on the scheduled date for examination purposes as agreed by the awarding organisation and invigilated by an external examiner.

The Level 4 Award in Skin Blemish Removal is a vocationally related qualification focused on carrying out advanced electrical epilation techniques to treat skin tags, milia, telangiectasia, spider naevi and blood spots. Students will develop the advanced skills to carry out a thorough consultation, formulate an individual treatment plan and provide aftercare advice. Health, safety and hygiene are also key elements of this qualification. Students will be assessed on their occupational competence. Level 4 Certificate In Laser, Light And Skin Rejuvenation
The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments is an advanced qualification that has been specifically designed for beauty therapists, who wish to add laser and IPL treatments to their repertoire of treatment offerings and proceed to employment as a level 4 laser therapist. This qualification is based on beauty therapy National Occupational Standards (NOS). This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications. Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline prior to undertaking this qualification.
